Nearly five years after her death, Lifetime is bringing Brittany Murphy’s story to the small screen. The network — famous for its biopics of dead celebrities — announced on Tuesday that it will premiere the two-hour television movie on Sept. 6.

Stepping into the starlet’s shoes is Amanda Fuller, who last appeared on Tim Allen’s Last Man Standing and had bit roles on Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal.

The film will tell the story of Murphy’s beginnings when her mother Sharon (Sherilyn Fenn) tried to turn her into a child star and the moments leading up to her unexpected death on Dec. 20, 2009. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will also look at Sharon’s claims that her daughter’s death was not an accident.

There are no specific details about which of Murphy’s most famous roles — Tai in Clueless, Daisy in Girl, Interrupted, or Alex in 8 Mile — will make it into the TV movie or how it will address her personal relationships, including her husband Simon Monjack. The two were married in 2007 and the two lived with her mother in the same house.

The news of Lifetime taking of Murphy’s story comes on the heels of the upcoming Aaliyah biopic, which has experienced a number of hiccups due to backlash over the casting of Zendaya Coleman. Nickelodeon actress Alexandra Shipp later replaced Coleman. The project, titled Aaliyah: Princess of R&B, most recently cast the roles of Missy Elliott and Timbaland.

With Anna Nicole Smith and Liz Taylor covered last year, there are a few stars left that we’d love to see the network tackle. Though, given the mandate that the subject must be six feet under, we do not wish untimely deaths for any of the stars on this list:
