Gwyneth Paltrow Won’t Do Theater

GWYNETH Paltrow is too busy to tread the boards.

The actress — who raises two young children with her Coldplay rocker husband Chris Martin – has put off pursuing a theater role to focus on motherhood.

“Yes, I’d love to appear in a musical theater role,” she said. “But not right now. My kids are still at that age where I want to be home for bedtime and on weekends and if you do a play you’re out when they’re home. So it doesn’t make sense now, but maybe, someday.”

Paltrow recently revealed she likes telling fart jokes.

“Anybody can have this, it doesn’t matter if you’re having a really hard time, if you’re not where you want to be money-wise or success-wise, if you’re having a really nice glass of wine some homemade food and your kids telling a fart joke, that’s the best thing in life,” she said.

“It’s like, I’m a busy mom and I work and I think it’s so important to make food for your family and the people you love and just to have that time together.

“It’s something my dad taught me and it was really the impetus for the book because when we’d all gather around the table it was the high point of the day.”
